20% of US smartphone market is occupied by LG

Not that far behind Samsung

Android Authority reports that according to a report from Strategy Analytics, in the first quarter of 2017, LG’s market share has reached 20 percent for the first time. They have shipped 7.3 million smartphones during the quarter compared to Samsung which have sold 9 millions smartphones while standing at 24.6 percent share.

The growth is thanks to their budget friendly K and X series while their high-end V and G series selling real good. While LG is in third position and Samsung is in second position, Apple enjoys the first position with 34.5 share with sales of 12.6 million units.
