Windows 10 has been released by Microsoft, and the new operating system is a huge success as it seems since there are now over 100 Million installations of Windows 10 already. However apart from the desktop operating system the company has two other projects they are going to release very soon. On the one hand this is Windows 10 for their Xbox Console and on the other hand this is Windows 10 Mobile for Smartphones.

Microsoft is still struggling with the market share of their mobile operating system in some parts of the world which makes it even more important for the company to make Windows 10 Mobile a success. Currently the operating system is available as a Windows Insider Preview just like Windows 10 for Desktops is and therefor it can be downloaded and installed by every Insider. Microsoft has made some huge progress with the OS already though there are some stability issues in the latest Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview Build 10536. If you have a look at our YouTube Channel you will find a couple of speed comparisons and hands on of Windows 10 Mobile, however the question is, does this really show how reliable an operating system is. Well I would say yes and now, though for those of you who think this isn’t enough to see the reliability of an OS we have created a new video series in which we are comparing all the system apps of Windows 10 Mobile and Windows Phone 8.1

Since this is Part 3 of the series, you might want to have a look at Part 1 and 2 which you can find here. We are going through the system apps in alphabetical order to have an overview which Apps we have mentioned already and which we haven’t yet.

Therefor in Part 1 you can see a comparison between:

  • Alarms
  • Battery Saver – Settings, Battery Saver
  • Calculator
  • Camera Button – Camera
  • Calendar

In Part 2 you can see a comparison between:

  • Data Sense – Network & Wireless, Data
  • File Explorer
  • FM Radio
  • Games – Xbox
  • Internet Explorer – Microsoft Edge

Last but not least, Part 3 which is the latest part of the series, and has been embed below. This time we are having a look at the following five apps:

  • Maps
  • Messaging
  • Music – Groove Music
  • Outlook – Outlook Mail
  • People

I hope you like this video series, feel free to leave me some feedback here or below the Video. If you do have any suggestions for future videos we will try our best to air them so that you can the best view as possible on Windows 10 Mobile. Why are we comparing only five apps in each video? I don’t want to be these videos too long so I have decided to make a series with it and always talk about 5 Apps, nor more and not less.
Stay tuned for more Microsoft related news in the future, in case you want to see some stuff about the latest addition to the Lumia family, Microsoft Lumia 950 and 950 XL, you can have a look at our YouTube Channel where we have uploaded a few videos showing the two new devices.
