Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10540 Changelog leaked online

Windows 10 has been released to the public already, however that doesn’t mean the work is done for Microsoft. The Windows Insider Preview Program continues to exist and Microsoft is regularly publishing new Windows 10 Builds for Desktops and Tablets. That does also mean work to do for WZor who is almost famous for his Windows leaks and can bee seen as a reliable source. His latest leak is about an upcoming Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10540 which is either in internal testing at Microsoft or will be released as a Build to Insider soon, or both.^^

However the leak reveals the release notes document for the mentioned Build and these are showing some interesting and welcome changes. There is on the one hand the addition of support for jump lists for Windows Store Apps on the Start Menu. Below you can have a look at an quotation from the Changelog document:

You can now build jump lists for Windows Store apps (immersive apps). Note that the jump list content will now also be available from tiles in Start and the All apps list, in addition to the taskbar and the Most Used list in Start.

If you have a closer look on the embed gallery with screenshots of the release notes, you will also notice that there are a lot fixes included titled with graphics or display, this could bring some performance improvements for Windows 10 when it comes to displaying it on different screens, displaying bugs and so on.

Another new addition to this Build which is listed in the documents under ‘Breaking Changes’ is the updated Microsoft Edge UA string. Below you can have a look at an excerpt from the document which is showing the change of the UA string.

Summary: The User Agent (UA) string has been updated to “Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/46.0.2486.0 Safari/537.36 Edge/13.10528”.

These are almost all changes worth noting, however you can have a look at the release documents by yourselfer either if you head over to WZor you look at the embed gallery below.
