Here is a quick update for Windows Insiders and everyone else who is eagerly waiting for the next Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview Build. As you might know the team around Gabriel Aul who are responsible for the release of a new Build were expected to release a new one the past week, however on the release day Gabriel has tweeted some bad news, unfortunately there was a problem with the release candidate and couldn’t be published therefor. The problem was that if Microsoft would have published Build 10536.1003 all Insider who would have installed this Build on their device wouldn’t have been able to install any upcoming Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview Builds, therefor the release was delayed.

Though there are not only bad news, the release has been only delayed until early next week, the only question left was which Build will then be published and thanks to a curious Twitter User we do now have the answer.

So the release in the past week was canceled, however Build 10536.1003 which was supposed to be released has been accidently released to about 2oo Windows Insiders, if lucky or not, if you haven’t got this Build you will have to wait 2 more days however then will get apart from the fixes mentioned below also the ability to update to a new Build which gets published after this one.

Changelog

  • Mobile Hotspot works
  • Quiet Hours bug is gone
  • Better Performance
  • USB EEM option
  • Lock screen delay bug is gone
  • Choose Start Screen background image from ‘My Picture, Sample Pictures’.
  • ‘Tile style / Full Screen picture’ is a separate option

We will of course keep you informed about that and notify you as soon as a new Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview Build is available. So stay tuned and for more information about this topic and additional Microsoft related news. Feel free to drop me a comment below with your opinion on Windows 10 Mobile.
