Microsoft Mobile’s head of operations in India, Ajey Mehta has promised a series of new devices running the new Windows 10 Mobile operating system, all of which will work on the country’s various 4G LTE networks, according to The Economic Times.

Ajey Mehta is quoted as saying “We will soon roll out the LTE version of Lumia 640XL. All of our future 4G devices will support all types of 4G services in India”.

Currently the only Windows Phone 8.1 device supporting 4G LTE is the Lumia 638, but Ajay apparently told the website that new devices will be landing in India by the time the Diwali festival starts, which falls in November this year. Whether this will include the much leaked but still unannounced flagship, Lumia 950/950XL is not clear, Microsoft could bring more mid range devices to the world’s second most populated markets.
