Hey everyone! I recently got invited by AT&T to witness the throwing out of the first pitch at a Yankee game. Jon Abreau threw out the first pitch; he is one of the All Star Code/AT&T Scholars .
We also had a chance to visit the AT&T fan zone at Yankee Stadium which was really cool.
The Fan Zone is a permanent sponsor activation footprint at Yankee Stadium and it offers tons of cool stuff. At the Fan Zone you can “Bobblehead Yourself” by playing an interactive game that allows fans to create their own personalized digital bobblehead. You can also experience AT&T’s latest technology, check out an animated social heat map showing real-time Yankees social activity across the country/world, view Yankees On Demand video content and watch the game live. As a sponsor of the New York Yankees, AT&T is committed to using technology to enhance the fan experience and this year they’re bringing the fun of the store outside into Yankee Stadium. Let’s not forget a that there is also a charging station at the Fanzone so you can charge any of your mobile devices; if you are taking a lot of videos and pictures during the game feel free to stop by the FanZone and recharge.
Check out the video below to see the Fanzone in action.
