I’ve managed to get my hands on the new LG G4 from AT&T, and I’ve been spending the past couple weeks messing around with it. Mainly, I noticed I spend most of the time taking pictures, because the camera on this thing is quite amazing.
It takes a lot for me to say that, as I’m a long-time Nokia fan, and Nokia has been known to have some of, if not thee, best cameras on any smartphone (see: Lumia 1020). But lately I put my Lumia down so that I could test out the LG G4’s 16MP camera, and honestly I can say that I’ve personally not seen a camera perform quite like this. Coupled with an f/1.8 aperture, OIS and laser focus, as well as an 8MP front shooter, photos on this device came out amazingly crisp and detailed, with colors popping out beautifully. If a great camera is what you’re looking for on a smartphone, look no further.
I’ll save my more detailed thoughts on the camera experience for my full review, coming soon, but for now check out some of the shots I’ve gotten with one of the best Android flaghips money can buy right now.
