Blurry image of the Lumia 1020 successor?

The above image is from popular twitter leakster @evleaks aka Evan Blass.

He uploaded this blurry image with a message to Windows fans not to lose hope.

As you all know, the Lumia 1020 was released more than 2 years ago and no viable replacement has been released or even mentioned by Microsoft, leaving a lot of Lumia 1020 fans dejected and losing hope on if we would ever get a successor to the 41MP imaging beast.

The Lumia McLaren could have been that successor but was cancelled late last year.

botched Lumia McLaren (Lumia 1040)

This message and blurry image from Evan Blass lights a beacon of hope for Windows fans, especially since no leaked image of any flagship Windows 10 Mobile phone has surfaced (just specs so far).

From the blurry image we could make out that it has Dual LED and what looks like a Xenon flash in the middle there? But there are 3 Flash nodes in that blurry image, what they are made of we can’t tell for sure until a more detailed pic surfaces. We can’t also confirm how many megaPixels this will carry.

To refresh your memory, the Lumia 1020 came with both LED and Xenon flash. With a 41MP Carl Zeiss camera…

The camera modules for the Lumia 1020 and the cancelled Lumia McLaren device both had the PureView/Zeiss branding on them, but this latest leaked photo has none, though we can’t tell due to the blurriness.

I guess we will wait and see if we will get a Lumia 1020 successor this year maybe early next year 2016.

Either way, like Evan Blass said… “Don’t give up hope”
