Black Berry Messenger App for Windows Phone receives Channel Support
Since a quite some time the Black Berry Messenger App is now available in the Windows Phone App Store and is used by dozens of Windows Phones owners. However the app is not getting that much attention from Black Berry, this might also be one of the reasons why the app has a rating of only 3 stars in average. Even better that we can tell you that Black Berry has today released a new Update for the App which brings not only some bug fixes but also a new feature.
Version 22.214.171.124 can now be downloaded from the Windows Phone App Store and if you have installed this version of the Black Berry messenger you will now be able to use the Channels feature. This feature brings you a kind of timeline similar to Facebook which allows you to interact with your friends and colleagues. In such channels you are able to share things such as messages, pictures or host discussions. It is even possible to chat directly with subscribers and brands.
This feature has been implemented in the Black Berry Messenger Beta App a while ago and has now made it’s way to the official version.
If you Windows Phone has not notified you about the app update, just head over to the App Store to download the update by scanning the QR Code with Bing Vision or clicking on the app logo below.
