Nokia to hold a Conference on the “Zero Day” at the MWC 2015?

While we have so many rumors about Microsoft Launching few low end Lumia devices at the MWC 2015, Nokia on the other hand has got plans too. Nokia will also be amongst the big names who will be attending the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 in Barcelona this March. If that was not enough, the company will hold a conference on March 1st, submitted directly by the CEO Rajeev Suri. It is expected that the Redmond will launch the low end Lumia devices while Nokia is expected to launch New Android based alternatives at the MWC 2015.

The story is not yet over, Nokia acting standoffish from the world trend at present but I reckon it is not for long. According to the expert’s gossips, Nokia might launch its Android centered Smart Watch at the MWC’s “Zero Day” on March 1st 2015.

As I was saying about the rumors, Microsoft may be looking to launch two new Lumia smartphones at the MWC 2015. Informers suggest that these new smartphones will once again be an entry-level and a mid-level device. Also both the Lumia smartphones is expected to run on Windows 10 OS out of box.

Meanwhile, Acer Enterprise has already announced that they would be showcasing Windows 10 phones at the MWC 2015. No matter what device is launched, neither MS nor Nokia would launch a Flagship device at the MWC 2015. Lumia 930 and the Lumia 1520 still remains to be the flagship which was factory-made by Nokia.

My View,

I have been waiting for donkey’s years to get a killer flagship from Nokia/MS but my 920 is still fast enough for me and works just fine. I will have to wait till second half of 2015 to at least know if the 1030 would be released or not. Microsoft’s plan of launching the Entry-level or Mid-level smart phones might capture the market share but they also need one or two very high end devices to showcase the capabilities of their ecological unit and to create interests, to excite the fan base and give them some expectation however I totally understand how it would feel to know that there is an updated device right after you get one. It happened to me. I got the L520 and then came the 525, 530, 535, 535 dual, 532 and the 532 dual. Though it all came in a regular interval of time, I always thought Nokia/MS should have just made one or utmost two 5 series starting from the 530! If 530 had launched just before the Moto E or G, it would have taken the market share to a different level. Furthermore, when they launch a flagship, it would not be at the top of the Hardware Specs. Expectations are growing, let us wait and see how they work to confront the challenges of the Mobile World.
