AC-10 Portable Charger by Microsoft

Microsoft has today announced a new compact, rounded cylindrical portable charger via their Connects Blog. The new Portable Charger is called AC-60 and inside of this powerful charger you can find a 6000 mAh rechargable battery. That’s huge and should be enough to charge your smartphone about two times. The portable charger can charge your smartphone to 80% in just 3 hours, if you keep it recharging for one another hour it will have 100% again.

  • Width: 43.9 mm
  • Height: 99.5 mm
  • Thickness: 25.4 mm
  • Weight: 145 g
  • Cable length: 25 cm

For charging you can use a simple Micro USB cable for your smartphone and the Charger itself uses a normal USB port so it is also possible to buy a longer cable or charge your iPhone with it. The AC-60 has also a really low stand by battery consumption so that even if your Portable Charger is lieing around for six months it will still have 80% of its battery and you can straight away charge the battery of your smartphone, it has also a battery indicator LED if you are not sure how much energy is left.
The new Portable Charger AC-60 will hit the Microsoft Stores sometime in October and will be available in the colors white, bright green and bright orange. Also the price isn’t that bad, the 6000 mAh rechargable battery will cost you 39€ or 49$.
