Nokia Developer are hosting an event on May 16-17th 2014 in locations around the world with the aim of helping Windows Phone 8.1 developers learn, meet fellow devs, and get apps in to the Windows Phone store.

//publish/ is a series of global events offering you the opportunity to finish and polish your app with expert guidance and support that will help you get ahead in the game. Attend one of the events in-person and you will receive expert guidance and support for app design, performance, testing, publishing and Unity porting in an inspiring setting. This is a truly global happening, with events running simultaneously at over 60 different locations worldwide. All sites are connected by “The Board,” a big online digital dashboard to inspire you even more to get that app published. You’ll find //publish/ an extraordinary opportunity to learn, share and code connected to your global peers via a unique online experience. Get your apps over the finish line and published in the store. Register early as space is limited. Click here to register.

Anyone attending //publish/ can also look at these previous programs in preparation.:

Before //publish/, take advantage of two great learning events that recently concluded:
Sessions from //learn/ are now available online for anytime, anywhere viewing. Learn to build your own universal Windows app, get training on the new application lifecycle, the new XAML runtime, the new Silverlight features, and more. Click here to view sessions from //learn/.
Jump Start is a more advanced webinar for experienced developers to explore best practices around optimized code and more. Jump Start is now also available on Channel 9.

We hope these events provide everything you need to build universal Windows apps, and can’t wait to see what you publish. Be sure you’re following @nokiadeveloper to get the latest details on these and more upcoming learning opportunities.
