Nokia Coloud Boom Headset packs a BOOM! (Review)
I received a review unit from the good folks over at Mobilefun of the Nokia Coloud Boom Headset.
As many of you know I have been looking around for a good headset for quite sometime now. Good thing this came in for me to review. I have been using this headset for about a week now, & I would like to share my thoughts.
First off lets start with the PROS .
PROS:
- Microphone
- Noise Cancelling
- Price
- Sound Quality
- One Button Controls
INTRODUCTION:
The Nokia Coloud Boom Headset feels really good. They’re made of really light plastic material and has a flexible band that is really comfortable even for long periods of use. My commute to work is usually a 45 minutes train ride and I did not feel any discomfort at all. The headset also has an adjustable headphone to best fit your head. Its a one size fits all type of headset. The cord is made out of a tangle free flat ribbon and also feels high quality.
NOISE CANCELLING:
I had an awesome experience with the Noise Cancelling on this headset. Like I said the sound quality is great and you hardly hear any disturbance around you. All you hear is the great music. I almost missed my train stop while using these headset on the train.
MICROPHONE AND CONTROLS:
One of the features I like about this headset is the Microphone and the Remote Control to pick up calls and control music. The microphone works really great, I haven’t had any complaint regarding sound issues from the other end. The Lack of multiple buttons is what I don’t like about this headset. There is only one button that controls a lot of stuff.
Here is how the Control works
- Press button once to pick up a call.
- While listening to music, press button once to Pause Music
- While listening to music, press button twice to skip to the next song.
The down side.. No Repeat and Volume Controls.

CONCLUSION:
I was overly satisfied with the Nokia Coloud Boom Headset. For the price at below $50 USD. I find these headset a steal and have a fighting chance against the competition SOL Republic, Soul, SkullCandy, Beats, etc. The headset is loud and has a great sound quality and awesome noise cancelling. Nokia did not make a mistake partnering with Coloud in the making of these headset. Once again I want to thank MobileFun for the review unit & you should also check out the other headsets & accessories they have available click Here.
