Bing app suite released for Windows Phone 8

Microsoft has announced a suite of apps under the Bing moniker for Windows Phone 8. The apps include News, Finance, Weather, and Sports. The apps are apparently based off of their Windows 8 counterparts, which is a good sign that Microsoft is intent on bringing similar (and integrated) experiences to both platforms in the future. Interestingly enough, the apps are not yet available for download, at least on my end, but I still provided links to each, in case someone out there has better luck than I do.

As I mentioned before, I haven’t been able to download them, so I can’t give any insight as to how well they function, but from the looks of it the apps seem pretty legit! I can’t wait to get my hands on the News app, since the native Windows Phone Bing search doesn’t really give easy direct access to news. I also have a feeling that weather app is going to be my favorite of the bunch. It honestly just looks really cool (do I need more of a reason?)

If you manage to install them, drop a comment and leave your thoughts!
