Microsoft Office Mobile on Symbian Belle

Today, Nokia rolled out Microsoft Office Mobile to a number of recent Symbian Belle powered handsets, including my new Nokia 700.  I was quite pleased to see this relatively large software update (a 50MB OTA download, labelled Microsoft Apps 2.0) available for my phone, even though the prospect of tapping out an entire Word document or Excel spreadsheet might be a stretch for me given the size of the touchscreen display of the 700.  However, it’s a welcome, free software addition to my phone nonetheless, and seems to point to a future of increased Microsoft influence in the Symbian platform.  Here are a few screenshots of the newly installed software suite, comprising of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint (Powerpoint can accomodate the viewing and editing of existing files.)
