Microsoft or should I say Nokia, has today announced a new fabulous feature phone which can do more than just calling and sensing text messages. The Nokia 230 will be available as a Dual SIM and Single SIM version and apart from that you are able to install some apps like Facebook, Twitter or WhatsApp on the device and you are getting one camera on the front and one on the back of the device, both with a single LED flash (not even smartphones do have such a front LED flash) and gosh look at the deign of this phone, great work Microsoft or Nokia has done here but let’s dive in to give you some more information about these two new devices.

Make pictures like on your Smartphone

Well I have to admit that this heading is not completely the truth, though the Nokia 230 comes with two very handsome cameras which are surely enough for a second device or just for a photo here and there. On the back of the device there is a 2MP camera which does have also a single LED flash so that even in the dark you will be left alone with the Nokia 230. But now we are actually coming to the cool thing at this point, there is another camera at the front of the device and guess what there is another single LED flash so you do not need a mirror for your selfies anymore in order to so photos with flash on, just use the front facing camera and turn flash on, how awesome is that.
After you have done the right shot, hit the share button on your Nokia 230 and upload the photo to Twitter, Facebook or share it via WhatsApp with your friends. If you are in the Facebook app already, just hit the dedicated camera button to launch the camera without exiting the app you are currently using.

Design and Gaming in one device

The Nokia 230 might be a ‘simple’ feature phone but it does bring some things which are good to bring some fun in the grey everyday life. Remember phones which do not support MicroSD cards, well throw away that phone, insert the card in the Nokia 230 and listen to all your favorite music again which you have stored on it years ago. The Nokia 230 comes as a Dual SIM version for everyone who loves to travel and wants to insert a second SIM card from the country where he is traveling to and there will be also a Single SIM version for everyone who isn’t travelling. However, doesn’t matter if you like traveling or not, both device will support the above mentioned MicroSD cards up to 32GB which is pretty nice, my old iPo… Mp3 Player has not got more storage then 30GB either.
And while you are listening to all the classic songs again from your SD Card, just head over to the App Store and download some games which you can then enjoy on your 2.8″ screen. If you prefer interacting with your friends, no problem Twitter, Facebook and WhatsApp are available for this phone and there is even a browser so you are also able to use web apps for those services which aren’t offering an app. And not you do not have to use Internet Explorer for that job, Opera has made a pretty good compact version of their browser for that platform and it is really nice to experience the web, to find all the stuff you are looking for on the web there is Bing Search and MSN Weather will care for you so that can’t get in unexpected snow storms.

That’s it about these two new phones, wait no, have you seen the design of this phone? It has a beautiful aluminum body which is available in black and white and does look better than some smartphones out there. Wait but isn’t aluminum bendable, that’s what we have learned from the iPho…, the other smartphone which has been released about a year ago right? Well the Nokia 230 does have a delicious design made out of aluminum bit it is also 10.6mmm thick so don’t worry it will fit into your pocket and if you want to use it again it won’t be bended.
